revelation

of the Kingdom

"But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions." - Genesis 15:14

Whenever God brings you through a time of great adversity, you can expect to come out of that experience with great possessions, if you have been faithful through the trial. This is a universal truth. Wisdom comes from obedience, not knowledge. When we have been tested and proven, the reality of our faith results in possessions from God that we would never receive if we had not gone through those trials. These are precious in His sight and should be valued greatly. Those who know you will be amazed at the wisdom that comes from your mouth. It is one of those mysteries of the gospel that only those who experience incredible testing and hardship can explain.

God kept the people of Israel enslaved 400 years, but when the time came to free them from the bondage of slavery, they came out with great possessions. These physical possessions symbolize the spiritual possessions we receive when we come out of being enslaved to those things that have hindered us all our lives. These possessions are to be shared with others so that they also can know how they might become free.

What has God freed you from that allows you to share your possessions with others? Share what God has done in your life with someone you work with today. It may be the possession they need most in their life.

Someday

SOMEDAY

"I've heard of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. But I've never heard of Someday."
—Reverend Ike

We have to start before we can succeed at anything and when we keep putting off our dreams until Someday, we unconsciously stall moving toward what we want. We are better served, when instead of wishfully thinking "Someday, I will..." we confidently affirm "Today, I steadfastly advance toward my goal."

May you always be willing to give up Someday for this day.

[Ecc11:4]
He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.

Remember,
there will never be a perfect condition for everything. For everything requires that step of faith to accomplish! (: the start of every plan iz always that first step. Don't let any day become a someday!

"It may be that when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work, and when we no longer know which way to go, we have begun our real journey."
—Wendell Berry

Have you ever noticed, how often life reveals itself to us on a "need-to-know" basis? We don't have to be consciously aware of what to do next because our inner being always knows. Sometimes it's best to just be willing to let the adventure begin, trusting that everything else will take care of itself.

May you always be willing to trust your journey will take you where you need to go, wherever that might be. Trust God. even when there seems to be no way, God WILL make a way (:

Move On!

Move On!
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 1 by Os Hillman

..."Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to move on." - Exodus 14:15

Moses had brought the whole nation of Israel, approximately 600,000, to a dead end in the desert. The only thing between Israel and Pharaoh's pursuing army was the Red Sea. This was after nine plagues God had inflicted on Pharaoh to motivate him to free the Israelites. Finally, Pharaoh had freed Moses and the people, and they left Egypt. They thought they were home free. "Freedom at last," they said. But God did a strange thing. He directed Moses to take a route that led to the Red Sea, instead of the northern route around the Red Sea. God explained that He didn't want them fighting the enemies they would have encountered on this route. But still, there was the issue of the Red Sea.

They finally arrived at the Red Sea, and the people were wondering where they would go from there. News hit the camp: Pharaoh had changed his mind. He was coming after them with his army. Panic set in. The defenseless Israelites cried out, "Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die?...It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!" (Ex. 14:11b-12)

God sometimes brings each of us to a "Red Sea" in our life. It may be a work problem that can't be solved. It may be a marriage that seems to be failing. It may be a debilitating disease. Whatever your Red Sea, God tells us one thing: "Keep moving." The Red Sea was before them, yet God was angered at Moses and told him to "Keep moving."

"But Lord, the Red Sea is before me." "Keep moving." When we live by sight, we act on what we see. God sets this stage in dramatic fashion. God is into the dramatic. There is no way out without God here. That is just the way He wants it. No one will get glory except God.

A friend once admonished me when I was in the midst of an extremely difficult time in my life, "You must not withdraw from being proactive in your faith just because of this trial that you are in. God's hand is on your life. There are too many who are depending on you to fulfill the purposes God has in your life. Keep moving! Keep investing yourself in others." I didn't feel like it. I was in too much pain. But I did it anyway. God met me at the point of my greatest need once I decided simply to be obedient. Getting past myself by investing myself in others helped heal the pain. There is great healing when we look past our own problems and seek to invest ourselves in others for the sake of Christ. This is when our own Red Seas become parted. We begin to walk to freedom. But we will never experience the miracle of the Red Sea in our lives if we don't first "Keep moving."

I tried to make some sound, but my nails didn't corporate,
Its was late in the night.
My spirit yearns for Him, but still couldn't take a single proper cord on the instrument made

For all that has happen, for all that is done, I need His Presence so much more than any earthly thing cold do.

Given a chance i would have change, Given some power change I will make, For all to see, For some to stumble, But for all of His glory i have to let go

Just a thought, not a poem My heart still yearns for Him to prevail. I hate changes for all you know, return to the start as was so great

I Bought a rubix cube for myself as a x-mas gift. how sad.. and i could't solve it!

I'm lying alone with my head on the phone
Thinking of you till it hurts
I know you hurt too but what else can we do
Tormented and torn apart

I wish i could carry your smile in my heart
For times when my life seems so low
It would make me believe what tomorrow could bring
When today doesn't really know, doesn't really know

(chorus)
I'm all out of love, i'm so lost without you
I know you were right, believing for so long
I'm all out of love, what am i without you
I can't be too late to say i was so wrong

I want you to come back and carry me home
Away from these long, lonely nights
I'm reaching for you, are you feeling it too?
Does the feeling seem oh, so right?

And what would you say if i called on you now
And said that i can't hold on?
There's no easy way, it gets harder each day
Please love me or i'll be gone, i'll be gone

(chorus)
Ooh, what are you thinking of
What are you thinking of
What are you thinking of
What are you thinking of
(repeat chorus)

Ritchell Lim

Ritchell Lim

She stood straight, pure and innocent

As she struck her first chord

Tears start to well up

In her I saw the reality of life’s imperfections

Redeemed by the glory of God’s grace

In her I saw what love and family can do

To nurture the beauty of a child

In her I saw what mankind could achieve

When we cast aside worldly cares

And commit to a vision of the gifts within

Forever will i remember the day she sang

She did 2 piece for US, titled "hear my prayer" and "the one who keeps me safe"
touch the hearts of many with teary eyes. Its really an inspiration to hear these words from a 12yr old gal.

" BUT don't be proud of your gifts...... be proud of THE ONE that has given that gifts to you"
