On the way back home, after Christmas service today at expo. Took a trip down to Orchard Central to watch the chc choir perform their gig there. It was awesome.

Now, Its Christmas is coming to an end in a few hours time. Wonder how will it be like then?

‘Are you okay?‘ - why do people say it? Does ‘I’m fine’ honestly satisfy you? If so, you don’t mean what you’re asking. I mean, come on, look in my eyes - I’m not okay. You know I’m not okay. And you asking if I’m okay is just reminding me how badly I’m not. I want someone to reach out a little farther than just ‘are you okay?’. Instead of a question, make it a statement. You’re okay. It’s gonna be okay. It would mean so much me more. We all need to look a little deeper. Nobody is ever okay.

"But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions." - Genesis 15:14

Whenever God brings you through a time of great adversity, you can expect to come out of that experience with great possessions, if you have been faithful through the trial. This is a universal truth. Wisdom comes from obedience, not knowledge. When we have been tested and proven, the reality of our faith results in possessions from God that we would never receive if we had not gone through those trials. These are precious in His sight and should be valued greatly. Those who know you will be amazed at the wisdom that comes from your mouth. It is one of those mysteries of the gospel that only those who experience incredible testing and hardship can explain.

God kept the people of Israel enslaved 400 years, but when the time came to free them from the bondage of slavery, they came out with great possessions. These physical possessions symbolize the spiritual possessions we receive when we come out of being enslaved to those things that have hindered us all our lives. These possessions are to be shared with others so that they also can know how they might become free.

What has God freed you from that allows you to share your possessions with others? Share what God has done in your life with someone you work with today. It may be the possession they need most in their life.

Someday

SOMEDAY

"I've heard of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. But I've never heard of Someday."
—Reverend Ike

We have to start before we can succeed at anything and when we keep putting off our dreams until Someday, we unconsciously stall moving toward what we want. We are better served, when instead of wishfully thinking "Someday, I will..." we confidently affirm "Today, I steadfastly advance toward my goal."

May you always be willing to give up Someday for this day.

[Ecc11:4]
He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.

Remember,
there will never be a perfect condition for everything. For everything requires that step of faith to accomplish! (: the start of every plan iz always that first step. Don't let any day become a someday!

"It may be that when we no longer know what to do, we have come to our real work, and when we no longer know which way to go, we have begun our real journey."
—Wendell Berry

Have you ever noticed, how often life reveals itself to us on a "need-to-know" basis? We don't have to be consciously aware of what to do next because our inner being always knows. Sometimes it's best to just be willing to let the adventure begin, trusting that everything else will take care of itself.

May you always be willing to trust your journey will take you where you need to go, wherever that might be. Trust God. even when there seems to be no way, God WILL make a way (:
